Is your leader’s licence valid?

For your leader’s licence to be valid you need to have a current DBS (formerly CRB) check. Your DBS check needs updating every three years.

The Government last year changed the process for DBS checks which means that UKA, who issue coaching licences, no longer receive a copy of your DBS certificate when you are sent one. This means that you, should you wish have your licence renewed, need to send your DBS certificate to UKA so they can see it and take the next steps in the process.
