A film crew from Sky Sports News have been among the latest people to catch the running bug after paying a visit to Run England groups in London.

The channel broadcast coverage of how parkrun events and Run England groups are both doing their bit to get the nation running and filmed members of the Run England Grangewood Park Amigos (Improvers) and Royal Caribbean Runners Grangewood Park Amigos (Beginners) groups.

The improvers group led by Peter Clarke has been helping people enjoy their running since 2010 with the beginners group now led by Nathan Tomlins in operation since January 2012.

The news item however was not just looking at the work done by these two groups but rather was letting people know how Run England is helping more people enjoy running with more than 1200 groups led by a qualified leader taking place nationwide.

Run England Area Coordinator for London Natalie Kavanagh-Clarke said, "It was a great opportunity to showcase what the Run England initiative offers.

"The interviews with the members of ‘Grangewood park Amigos’ provided an example of some of the inspirational work the Run England leaders are doing and highlighted the advantages of running in a group!"
